SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Domain 1 - Planning and
Preparation
The Tech integrator is
expected to:
- Work with teachers to identify opportunities for
the effective integration of technology into specific lessons or projects,
to support the teachers as they implement the lessons in their
classrooms.
- Reviewing Technology policies and guidelines on an
appropriate timeline basis as a committee.
- Working with Grade 4 and 5 teams to implement
digital portfolios.
- Working with the Ambassadors to ensure technology.
- Collaborating with the Early Years team to
implement technology (scheduled time with SKG).
- Collaborating with the Library on IT integration.
- Conducting WIT and in-house PD related to
Technology

Domain 2 - Teaching, Learning and
Assessing
- The Tech integrator is expected to:
- Coordinate with the Primary Leadership Team and
Teachers in planning and building integrated lesson plans.
- Collaborate with teachers to conduct tech
integrated sessions with students.
- Ability to differentiate for different
learning & language needs with the use of technology
- Providing support in having teachers use new
technology in their classrooms to improve assessment processes
Domain 3 – Learning
Environment
The Tech integrator is
expected to:
- Contribute to the development of innovative
learning spaces as part of the campus developments at the assigned campus.
- Promote the role that technology plays in learning
through positive and active engagement with the school community.
- Tries their best to keep u consistency and ensure
efficient use of technology to create a conducive environment
Domain 4 – Professional
Responsibilities
The Tech integrator is
expected to:
- Ensure Staff is skilled with Apple, Google and all
learning platforms on a regular basis through professional development
sessions
- Recommend pedagogical best practices that provide
useful and important innovation.
- Promote the use of information and communication
technologies to support differentiated learning and individual learning
styles.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
(teachers, students & parents) via school communication portal
with regard to any updates on usage of platforms, software or hardware
implementation and changes in technology policy.
- Ensures self upskilling and updating with
technology to keep oneself current and provide the next practices at OIS
General
The Tech integrator is
expected to:
- Ability to build, manage, mentor, inspire, and
provide direction to the IT team.
- Resourceful and quick to learn IT environments and
build relationships across organizations.
- Native or near-native proficiency in English;
- A teamplayer and effective contributor in ensuring
the alignment of School and Technology vision is aligned.
